The font style that is used is very formal looking, almost like the font used in invitations.  However, the font that is used for the title ‘Coraline’ seems to look like its been stitched on to material and a button is used to replace the ‘o’.

When the lead animators names appeared, the use of moving images of animations started in the background.  Also, when the credits for the concept artist and art directors were establish we saw the re-creation of an old doll in the background. Through this we can see a connection with what’s happening on screen to the credits.

The music used in this title sequence sounds like a lullaby. This is accompanied by diegetic sound of the stitching of the doll and the window closing.

This title sequence is very engaging with the audience as it keeps them wondering as to why this is taking place. It also keeps that audiences focused, as they know this part will play a significant part later on in the film.

The font that is used was formal looking, newspaper style. When most of the credits appeared they had a background of newspaper articles and the credits seemed to be part of the article.

When the cast was show old fashion black and white pictures were used to compliment the credits of the cast. When the director of photography’s credits appeared, in the background there was a moving image of someone putting black and white pictures against a white light box. This links the creditors name with his work.

The music that is used in the background sounds very horrific and ghostly which compliments that articles that appear in the background about ghost and the old fashion pictures.
