Title Analysis of High School and Youth Drama Films 


Teen dramas are usually divided into two categories:

Youth drama
a youth drama usually focuses on the social dilemmas faced by the main, often male character

High school 
they tend to focus on changes, makeovers and/or conflict within different groups at school

Diferences

Youth drama's usually focus on social conflicts such as conflicts within gangs therefore they don't require the setting of a high school in their production which is needed in High School dramas. The youth drama tends to have smaller list of credits in contrast to the larger list of credits in high school dramas. This shows that High school drama films requires a lot of elements during production which results in larger credits list.
